Firstly, Welcome to Cascading Tears. As with any RP site, there have to be some rules, in order for everyone to be kept happy. Please, follow them to the best of your abilities. =)


It's a game, guys. Whatever happens IC should not affect your feelings towards that person OOC. It's just a game, and the people aren't being mean, they're just RPing.

No insults OOC, or attacking another player OOC. This will result in a possible BAN for a certain amount of time, depending on the insult or what has been said.

No body enjoys reading one-liners. Please, five sentences per post. This rule applies only for IC posts, not OOC.

Please, no strait OOC posts unless it is nescassary. I'm very leniant with this rule.

For every character, you must have a seperate account. And they must be kept active. Other than that, you may have as many as you want.

IC Rules

For the dogs, Rape is allowed, although you can't randomly intrude and say,

'He walked up and mated then left.'

That is unacceptable. You must have some sort of lead up to it, and at least allow for the female to fight back against the male.

There should b no mating between opposing packs/gangs unless it is a rape. However, if your dog is particularly devious and is in 'love' with a dog from another pack, this may occur and the punishment will be left to your Alpha.

There must be a minimum of 120 words per post, and that's final. This rule is absolute, and I will check!

Do not begin to RP until you have been accepted by me, or by one of the other administrators.

The secret password for creating your character is Crimson

There is to be no Godmoding, Powerplaying etc etc. If I catch you doing this you will recieve a warning.

Breed Rules

Wolf Breeds- Unless you are one of the top posters on this board, post long posts, and I like you, don't even think about it. I will not accept your wolf unless you are an extremly intense and active member on this site.

Half Wolf Breeds- You must be a very good roleplayer and you must be a very active site member. You also must have roleplayed, alot.

Dog breeds- No limits on these. Except for banned breeds. To find out what breeds are banned, search around the Create a Character category.

Pack/Gang rules

If you wish to have a pack, please PM me with a Roleplay of you finding the area, claiming it, and then naming the pack/gang.

I will have different area's for you to claim, and you must choose one to claim. You can claim one so long as it is unclaimed already.

The Rules of the pack are laid down by the leader, and can vary from one pack/gang to another.

The leader of the pack decides who gets what position, not me. Earn your position, and that's that.

If you wish to fight a alpha for the territory of his/her pack, then you must first PM me, and I will then PM the alpha to tell them of your challenge. You and the Alpha will then discuss by PM where the fight shall take place. Once that has been sorted, you will then PM me of where it shall take place, and then a Staff Member will be sent to decide who shall win the fight. Please, don't randomly challenge. It's much more intersesting if the characters have a conflict beforehand, or if they're enemies or something like that. Remeber, this is a RP site and RPing is the name of the game. =)

If a leader becomes inactive, warnings will be sent via e-mail and PM to the leader of the pack. If the leader does not reply, log on, or make any effort to become re-active, his/her leadership will be revoked, and the pack/gang will be split up. The territry will then become unclaimed once more. For this reason, I suggest if you're a pack leader you make sure your account is activated so that you can recieve emails from the site.

Fighting Rules

No one is perfect, so you can't dodge every move. That is not only unfair, but it is also unrealistic.

The winner shall be decided by staff on who had the most detailed and realistic posts.

The winner will only be decided once both players have posted 10 times.

You may not kill the other persons character unless you have permission from the player and it is visible within the thread. No, 'They told me in PM' stuff.

Breeding/ Birthing Rules

I do allow for graphic breeding, but please, guys, use this lightly. There is no need to go too far in depth, as I have seen happen on other sites. Lets please try to keep it PG 13 most of the time.

A female can be bred is the appropriate seasons, but she may not always get pregnant.

A female must wait one season before giving birth to her puppies. The season changes every month, so if she is bred in Spring, the pups will be born in summer, Summer, Autumn, etc. etc.

Puppies may be still born.

Due to the fact that you must create a new account for every character, litters on here will be kept small, probably three puppies tops.

I reccomend that some puppies be put up for adoption, so that you don't have to worry about too many accounts. If you wish to keep all the puppies, that's fine too.

First dibs on all the puppies goes to the parents. If two puppies are born, and each parent wants to RP one, then they have a right to. However, if the parents don't want to RP all the puppies, that's where everyone else steps in.

Puppies!

We all love the cuddly little guys, so here are some rules to accomodate them

When creating a profile for a puppy, there history only has to be one paragraph long. After all, they're puppies. Not much has happened yet.

Puppies are puppies! They just wanna play, they don't fight big dogs! Please, RP them as puppies. I don't care if it's a doberman puppy, it still can't take out the adult German Shepherd.

Alpha Postion

When you become alpha, you may create your own rules, your own ranks and what not. If you would like me to lock threads or sticky threads for you, please PM me. (Such as Rank Threads or your Rules threads) Also, if a new member joins your pack, please PM me so I can add it to the list on the left hand side of the screen.
